Alcatel 1x Powered by Android 8 Oreo (Go Edition) With 18:9 Display Announced in India

Alcatel 1x unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, has announced the launch of this phone in India. As claimed by the company, this is the first smartphone with an immersive 18:9 display with Android Oreo (Go edition).

This phone is powered by Android Oreo (Go edition) which feature a suit of pre-installed, new Google
apps, designed for increased speed, less demand on storage, and efficient data use. This includes the
brand new Google Go, Files Go and Gmail Go.

On the specifications front, this phone has 5.34-inch FWVGA+ 18:9 display with resolution of 480 x 960 pixels. It is powered by 1.28GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 64-bit processor mated with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be extended up to 128GB with microSD card. This phone is fitted with 2460mAh battery and supports Dual SIM. For connectivity, this phone offers options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC etc.

Alcatel has not disclosed the price of this phone which will be revealed close to the availability in the market.
