The most exciting feature of this application is that it lets you to capture videos and upload them to Virtual Softball Academy.com. Your uploaded video will be then analyzed by professionals and they suggest you ways how you can further improve your softball game.
Video analysis is the best feature of Virtual Softball Academy. The captured videos are compared side by side with the video lessons, showing the athlete compared to “pro”. The Professionals shown in the videos are professionally softball and baseball players as well as Olympic Athletes. The lessons created by professionals are very helpful as they show your current performance and advise different moves that you should apply to your game. All of the instructions are based on “Hapanowicz Training Method” used at USA Elite Training LLC.
Its very simple to use. All it takes to tap on “Video Capture Option”. It’s recommended to shoot a video in landscape mode. Application maintains a Video Archive. This lets you to compare your current performance with old by watching old videos and enables you to see where you lack. Previous, Play, Pause, Next buttons makes video watching quite easy and pleasant. You can even “Share” your captured videos with your friends on Twitter or through Email.
Virtual Softball Academy is available in three different languages i.e. English, Japanese and Spanish. It runs on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Version 1.0 was released in October, 24 2012.
