Chinese handsets maker Coolpad which created flutter in the Indian marker few months ago by launching Coolpad Note 3 phone with fingerprint scanner in Rs. 10K category, has launched today refreshed version of Note 3 known as Coolpad Note 3 Plus. The Cooolpad Note 3 Plus is also priced Rs. 8,999 and will be available from 13th May on Amazon.in. The Note 3 Plus will be available in white and golden colors. The Coolpad Note 3 was also launched in December at Rs. 8,999.
There is no apparent difference between Coolpad Note 3 and Note 3 Plus except the resolution of display. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus also comes with 5.5 inch display which is full HD display with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels compared to 1280×720 of Coolpad Note 3. Rest of the features are same.
The Coolpad Note 3 Plus is powered by 64-bit, 1.3 GHz, MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor combined with 3GB RAM and 16GB of in-built storage which can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD card.
This phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash,f/2.0 aperture, 5 Element HD Lens, and also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both front and rear camera have CMOS image sensor for enhanced image quality. This handset also gets its juice from a 3000mAh battery.
This phone runs on Cool UI 6.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. This is Dual-SIM smartphone and also supports 4G LTE, 3G and GSM network frequencies, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot etc. This phone has dimensions of 151x77x9.3mm and weighs 168 grams.
Coolpad Note 3 Plus also comes with Fingerprint sensor on the back behind rear camera which supports 360-degree finger rotation and very fast recognition. This phone recognises upto five fingers for locking and unlocking the phone. With the Fingerprint sensor, you can also lock the apps on this phone. Besides Fingerprint sensors, the Coolpad Note 3 also comes with compass, gravity, proximity, ambient light, and gyroscope sensors.
Since Coolpad has got good traction in the Indian market as far as its budget Note series phones are concerned, the company has decided to come out with a flagship phone which will be launched in India in the third week of this month. Coolpad has not disclosed its specifications but it will have metal design and will come with very powerful hardware.
