It is raining selfie-centric smartphones in India. It appears that Chinese handsets makers want to cash in on the selfie craze of Indian users and are flooding the market with focus on selfie cameras. We have seen recently three selfie phones from Oppo – F1, F1 Plus and few days back F1s and Asus ZenFone selfie few months ago. Now, Coolpad Sky 3 is set to be launched in India on 10th August. The company has sent out media invites which say witness the Mega Selfie without naming the phone.
Coolpad Sky 3 incorporates an 8MP front camera for clicking selfies with f/2.2 aperture and 83 degree wide-angle lens. This phone also has 8MP rear camera which has f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. Both the cameras come with powerful feature such as HDR, GIF, collage, HD video recording and professional shooting mode.
This phone comes with a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass. It is packed with 1GHz MediaTek MT67355P 64-bit quad-core processor with Mali T720 GPU combined with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. It gets its juice from 2500mAh battery. This phone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box.
This phone offers connectivity options of 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack.
