This is a nice little trick to display the name (or letter’s) of your choice in windows task-bar instead of that usual boring AM/PM sign !
Follow the instructions given below to make the changes :
- Go to Start.
- Click on Control Panel.
- Select Regional and Language option.
- Select Customize (beside English US) and open it.
- Go to Time tab (from the pop-up window).
- Change AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to the desired name.
- Apply the changes.
After saving the changes look whether the changes have taken place or not.
If not, then follow the following steps :
- Go to time in task-bar.
- Double Click it to open Date and time property.
- Change the time in digital format i.e. 05:30:00 PM.
- Apply the changes.
Thats it !
Notice the changes in your task-bar and show it off to your not so geeky friends !!!!
NOTE – The above mentioned trick has been tried and tested on Windows XP machine. If you are a Widows 98, vista, 7 users try and look for similar option in order to make this trick work !
