HCL has launched two models of All-in-one Beanstalk range – Beanstalk AD1 V0027 for MRP Rs. 33,696/- and the Beanstalk AD1V0028 for MRP Rs. 37,908. Both the models sports features like a 18.5″ LED backlit, anti glare display and 2 GB DDR memory models. Powered by 2nd Generation Intel Core Processors, the Beanstalk AIO’s has elegant looks, sleek, unique space saving design and has crystal clear audio.
Additionally, the AIO’s will also provide “edutainment” advantage by offering a play,learn and entertainment kit. For play, the pack will have an activity zone with DVDs worth Rs. 2000/- consisting of 20 original games. For learning,education content worth Rs. 10,000 powered by Britannica Student Library and for entertainment, a Hungama coupon worth Rs. 2000/- with free song and video download will be respectively provided in the pack.
HCL also launched Smart Series 1044 laptop at an attractive price starting at MRP of Rs. 20,990/-. Weighing just over 2 KG and offering access to high speed internet through in-built gigabit LAN & HDMI ports, the HCL ME 1044 is all set to redefine mobility. Powered by Intel Processor B815, the device provides for improved graphics, smarter performance, longer battery hours and ensures an unmatched cinematic experience. The laptop adorns a super stylish look with its sturdy Maze texture finish to enhance durability and also has a high strength surface to prevent scratches.
This laptop comes with a 14.0″ HD (LED backlit) screen and a 1.3 MP camera to support video chat. On this occasion, HCL also showcased its range of lifestyle technology products including tablets and soon to be launched HCL Ultrabook and the Ultra Small PC – HCL Tiny Top. These products are expected to be launched in August, 2012.
IT major HCL Infosystems today said it will launch a third generation (3G) tablet PC in August this year for around Rs 18,000.
“The code name of the product is Y2 and it will be launched in August,” HCL Infosystems Executive VP and Head (Mobility) Gautam Advani told reporters here.
Earlier, this year in April, HCL had launched the powerful and stylish ME UI tablet on Android ICS and a path breaking education tablet – MyEdu Tab taht makes learning easy and fun. Since its launch, HCL has sold more than 350,000 tablets and the company expect to sell more than one million tablets by the end of this year. Currently, HCL enjoys 15% market share of tablets in the country and its market share of sub-10k tablets is 60%, which is an achievement and satisfying figure for the company, which is diversifying into segments of tablets and which has a burgeoning market not only in India but in neighboring countries. HCL has understood this well and trying to spread its wings in overseas markets also.
