HTC Desire 10 Pro which was unveiled in September, has been launched today in India. Priced at Rs. 26,490 , this phone will be available across all channels from mid-December in Stone Black and Polar White colors.
On the specifications front, the Desire 10 Pro sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz processor with Mali T860 GPU alongwith 4GB RAM. It comes with 64GB internal storage which can be extended upto 2TB with the help of microSD card.
On the imaging front, HTC has packed this phone with 20MP rear camera which has dual LED flash, Laser auto-focus, f/2.2 aperture and Electronic Image Stabilization for shooting stable videos even with shaky hands. It has Auto HDR features on both the front and rear camera. For selfies, the front camera has 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 150 degree selfie panorama mode which is enough to fit a whole football team with room to spare as claimed by HTC. The front camera also has a built-in screen flash for taking brighter selfies in challenging light conditions in day or night.
This phone incorporates fingerprint scanner on the back and also comes with HTC BoomSound. This phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with HTC Sense UI on top.
For connectivity, this phone supports 4G LTE,WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. This is Dual Nano Sim supporting phone and weighs 165 grams. It gets its juice from 3000mAh battery.
At today’s launch event, HTC also announced that it will be launching its latest smartphone, HTC Evo 10 by the end of December. HTC 10 evo has an all-metal unibody which is water, splash, and dust resistant. It comes with HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio and sprotsf 5.5-inch display covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 16MP rear camera with OIS, PDAF and 3200mAh battery with quick charge. This phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The company has not disclosed its price yet.
