To compete with Reliance Jio, all the Indian telcos are trying their level best to meet with the aspirations of Indian users who have been swayed by attractive offers of Jio. To sweeten the deals for their subscribers, Idea Cellular has announced 1GB data per day, for a month, for users of 4G Handsets. The new Idea pack can be availed by all postpaid customers on Limited rental plans of Rs. 199 and above. This data benefit of 1GB per day is available on 4G handset only and non 4G Handset users will get 3GB data per month.
Idea’s new postpaid pack is priced at Rs. 300 but is being offered for free to all postpaid customers on rental plans of Rs. 499 and above. Idea postpaid customers on base rental plans of Rs. 349 to Rs. 498 can avail the pack at a discounted rate of just Rs. 50, to avail 1GB data per day for a month. The discount is available for the first three months of subscription.

Speaking about the offer, Mr. Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular said, “This is a first of its kind offer with such a huge benefit to a large base of postpaid customers in India. The package has been designed to catalyse data usage amongst existing customers and to attract more postpaid customers to the Idea network.”
The new pack is available for subscription till 30th April, 2017 and is on heavy discount of upto Rs. 300 (value of the pack) for the first three months of subscription. According to Idea, the Data benefit may vary based on the network available in the circle.
