Intex Technologies has launched today its latest smartphone – Aqua i6 with a 5-inch FWVGA display, and is powered by recently introduced MediaTek second generation quad-core procesor, the MT6582, , clocked at 1.3 GHz.
The Aqua i6 runs on Android OS Jelly Bean (4.2.2) and is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera with flash and 2 MP front shooter. The phone has an internal memory of 4 GB, which can be expanded upto 32GB via Micro SD card. It has 512 MB RAM. The phone offers connectivity options such as 3G, HSPA, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0. This phone is packed with 1900mAh battery, which the company claims will last for more than 6 hours and gives a standby time of 220 hours.
This smartphone comes with pre-loaded apps like Bigflix for booking movies, and ZAPAK for users to stay hooked on to the never-ending world of games. Other unique apps like ‘Matrabhasha’ enables smartphone usage in 22 regional languages which includes Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Maithili, Marathi, Manipuri, Sindhi, Dogri, Nepali. It also has Intex Cloud app which gives free access to 5GB of space. Other pre-loaded apps such as Intex Play helps in downloading popular applications and games while Intex movies doubles up entertainment quotient with one month long free access to latest Bollywood movies.

The Aqua i6 is priced at INR 8990, and will be available in two colours- black and white.
