Indian handset maker Karbonn has launched an entry level smartphone A50S at Rs 2790, which will be available exclusively with the leading online retailer flipkart.com. The Karbonn A50 S is Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone and runs the Android Jelly Bean version 4.2.2 OS. This phone is available in black and white colors.
Karbonn A50S is a powered by a MediaTek Dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, coupled with 256MB RAM and 512MB of internal storage expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.. The device comes with a display of 3.5 inch TFT LCD and for the first time resolution of 480×320 pixels for a phone less than the value of Rs. 3000. This phone is equipped with a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and also houses a 0.3MP front camera.
For connectivity, the A50S supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and Micro-USB. It is packed with a 1100mAh battery and measures 115.7×61.8×10.5mm.
