This smartphone is designed for one-handed operation. The LG G2 comes pre embedded with applications like Text Link and Q Voice.
Voice command technology has been around for decades, but it has always been clunky and far less accurate than typing on a keyboard. But thanks to the initiatives taken by industry leading technology companies, many experts and analysts believe voice recognition has reached a stage where it’s now consumer ready.
With the recent launch of the LG G2 premium smartphone in markets across the world, customers now have the chance to experience voice-enabled technology features in English and Spanish. VoiceMate or Q Voice represents LG’s primary voice command platform incorporating latest features like opening apps via command. Other functions include the ability to have texts sent, calls made, alarms set and web searches performed all by having a natural conversation with VoiceMate.
Now operating in different languages, VoiceMate supports a wide number of the G2’s core features including phone control, search navigation and more. In tandem with the consumer-centric nature of the G2, LG has developed VoiceMate to emphasize the human element of its technology.
Also, the Text Link feature in G2 allows information embedded in text messages to be selected and easily saved in a memo or calendar and searched on a map or the internet. Text messaging also represents another opportunity to expand natural language technology across devices. Through making sense of typed content, the LG G2’s Text Link feature allows users to receive intelligent recommendations based on text information management in a breeze. The G2 is so intuitive it will automatically launch the calendar or map function depending on the context of the message. Text Link is like having a built-in personal assistant in your phone.
