The leading Indian handsets brand Micromax has launched today Canvas Mega series of smartphones to propel the growth of the phablet category. The two new smartphones under the Mega series are Canvas Mega E353 and Canvas Mega 4G Q417, and are priced Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 10,999, respectively.
Canvas Mega E353
This phablet sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. It is packed with a 1.4GHz Octa Core processor( MediaTek chipset MT6592M) combined with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. This device comes with 13MP AF rear camera and 5MP FF front camera for selfies. It is fuelled by a 2820 mAh battery.
Canvas Mega 4G Q417
This phone comes with a large 5.5-inch vivid HD IPS display, and also runs on Android Lollipop 5.10S. This phablet is driven by a 1.3GHz quad core processor ( MediaTek chipset MT6735) and 3GB RAM. It is equipped with a 13MP AF rear camera and for selfies, it houses a 5MP FF front camera. This phone has internal storage of 16GB and is packed with 2500 mAh battery.
This is 4G LTE enabled device and will be compatible with Indian 4G networks.
