Microsoft has officailly launched its much-awaited Xbox One gaming console at an event in Mumbai. The Xbox One was available for pre-order for quite sometimes on amazon.in and will be sold exclusively on this e-commerce site only. The price of stand-alone Xbox One is Rs. 39,990, while the Xbox One with Kinect is priced at Rs. 45,990.
The first Xbox One console was delivered to its ecstatic owner in Mumbai.
Xbox One gaming lineup include Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome. In addition, popular third-party blockbusters will be available on Xbox One with early exclusivity for downloadable content in “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,” “FIFA 14,” “Battlefield 4” and more.
The Xbox One with Kinect with motion detection system will come with two free titles, FIFA 15 and Dance Central Spotlight DLC, whereas the Kinect-less will be shipped only with FIFA 15.
To lure the customers, Amazon is offering goodie worth Rs 6,000 for free. Amazon is offering Rs. 2000 Gift coupon to purchase Xbox controller ( retail price of Rs. 3,999) or their favorite Blu-ray titles. Microsoft has also sweetened the deal by giving away a 14-day free trial subscription of Xbox Live Gold.
The Xbox One console comprises of Wireless Controller, one Chat Headset, one high speed HDMI cable, 500GB hard drive, 2 AA batteries, power supply and AC power cord.
Besides gaming, the Xbox One console can be used for the entertainment also. You can navigate and watch live TV from your cable, telco or satellite set-top box through your Xbox One. The Snap feature of Xbox One allows you to do two things at once – you can jump into a multiplayer battle while watching your favorite movie, hold group calls with friends on Skype while watching live TV. You can also record, edit and share your favorite gaming moments through Game DVR and Upload Studio.
