The new Nexus 7 (2013), Asus made, features a 7″ inch IPS display with 1080p HD resolution (323 ppi density), powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro mobile SoC, 2 GB RAM and Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean (upgradable to KitKat). It is available for purchase from Google Play Store. The WiFi only 16 GB variant costs Rs. 20,999 and 32 GB variant costs Rs. 23,999. On the other hand WiFi+LTE model of the tablet (with 32 GB storage) is available for Rs 27,999.

A short note on battery of Nexus 5. Please do not go by sheer numbers. Granted Nexus 5 has mediocre 2300 mAh battery but that doesn’t mean it is bound to fail miserably. It isn’t a lot but remember KitKat, the latest iteration of Android OS, has been tweaked to perform better on older devices, consume lesser resources. We will be reviewing Nexus 5 soon.
