NYNE Aqua Bluetooth Speaker To Be Unveiled At CES 2014

NYNE will introduce the first fully waterproof, floating, Bluetooth 4.0 portable speaker at the upcoming CES 2014. The Aqua is IPX7 tested, featuring 100 percent waterproof protection. One can enjoy the music in the shower, by the pool, playing at the beach, or riding a snowmobile. Aqua will be shown at 2014 International CES in the NYNE booth, Central Hall #11626.

NYNE is a lifestyle inspired audio brand, which  is part of California-based BOSS International Group (BIG), a leader in mobile audio products for more than 25 years.

The Aqua can be fully submersed in one meter of water for 30 minutes. Moreover this deviec is shock resistant to protect it from drops and everyday abuse. Its detachable waterproof silicon band allows for convenient carrying or hanging.

The NYNE Aqua also features a built-in waterproof microphone to answer incoming calls, listen to voicemails and hear text notifications. It has a 2200mAh Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery and a 3.5mm auxiliary input for an optional wired connection or non-Bluetooth devices. Aqua is packed with close to 10 watts of power and equipped with an EQ button that delivers four preset equalizer settings. The speaker measures approximately 9.5″ wide by 5.2″ tall by 1.6″ deep.

“Aqua answers the need for a portable, high-quality audio speaker that can play music outdoors and withstand the elements,” said Arman Arami, president of NYNE. “With up to 10 hours of playtime, the party can last all day at the beach, pool, lake, campsite, or backyard, even when an unexpected rainstorm hits. Aqua plays music from any Bluetooth-enabled device within a 33-foot range, without a wired or dock connection, so your phone or tablet can stay easily accessible and dry.”

NYNE Aqua portable Bluetooth speaker will be available at retail in early second quarter 2014 in grey and blue. It will have an MSRP of $129.95.

  1. I look forward to hearing the product at CES 2014. It is a very interesting design. I am currently a big fan of the Mighty Dwarf BlueII – Bluetooth vibration speaker. It is great for travel. How big is this unit? It looks quite large.
