Global online classifieds platform OLX, and India’s largest marketplace for used goods, announced today that it generates more than 11 billion monthly page views – around 360 million page views each day. Of these 11 billion monthly page views, 1.5 billion monthly page views are generated from India. These significant milestones follow OLX’s expansion into eleven new countries across Southeast Asia and Europe.
According to OLX India, OLX.in’s traffic has grown 150 times in the last 3.5 years, when its first television Ad was released. OLX.in’s brand awareness is more than 12 times than that of the number #2 player in the market in used Auto and Vehicles category, 8 times in Home and Household Goods category, and 8 times in Mobile Phones and Tablets category.
OLX.in is the number one mobile classifieds of India – almost 3 times more than the number #2 player in downloads and traffic. 100% of the listing content on the OLX.in site is user generated. As a pure consumer-to-consumer (C2C) platform, OLX neither makes listings on behalf of its users, nor calls users of other classifieds for listings, adds OLX in its press statement.
