Panasonic India today launched its P55 NOVO smartphone which comes with an integrated IR Blaster which allows the handset to send various commands to the IR based TV, Set-top-Box, AC or any other such equipment with IR sensing capability. It also comes with Peel Smart Remote app which according to the company, is capable of turning the smartphone into a universal home control. With this app the users can also tune in, set reminders, discover shows & control their home devices.
This phone also boasts of various gesture based features such as Double Tap to Lock/Unlock, Smart Swipe functionality where in a combination of number of fingers & direction of swipe can help user perform various predefined functions providing ease of access.
The P55 NOVO features a 5.3 inch IPS HD display (720×1080 pixels), and supports Dual-SIM and 21 Indian Regional Languages. It runs on Android KitKat 4.42 OS and is powered by a 1.4GHz True Octa Core processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory,which can be expanded upto 32GB with microSD card.
This phone is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with Triple LED flash for Ultra-low light condition photo capturing capability, and also incorporate the Gradient Capture Function. The 5 MP front camera also has LED Flash enabling the device to click selfies even in low light condition. It is packed with a powerful 2500mAh battery.
