To Promote its all New Discovery which is scheduled for launch in India on 28th October, Land Rover India in association with Conde Nast Traveller India has announced an initiative, ‘Discovery With A Purpose’, to spread awareness about India’s endangered wildlife.
According to the company, India has a great diversity of wildlife across several thousand species. However, many of them are under threat of extinction and thus need to be protected. The ‘Discovery With A Purpose’ initiative is aimed at bringing forth the species that face such a threat and thus create information and conversations around areas where our collective help and support may be needed.
Besides above, the ‘Discovery With A Purpose’ initiative will also engage with wildlife lovers and enthusiasts in India. They can become part of the exclusive journey by participating in a social media contest, ‘Share Your Discovery’. For this, they can share their unique travel experiences and share photos or videos of their ‘discoveries’. Participants can read details about this on landrover.in and cntraveller.in.
Commenting on this initiative, Rohit Suri, President and Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. (JLRIL), said, “India’s rich wildlife is battling extinction and needs our help. We need to care about it, but more than that, we need to act. During the ‘Discovery With A Purpose’ drive we intend to raise awareness on the need to preserve our wildlife. What better way to do this than to go into the wild with a known authority on the subject, Conde Nast Traveller, and tell a story with pictures and videos along with leading experts from this field.
