Reliance Retail has launched its entry level range of LYF smartphones, LYF Wind 6 and LYF Flame 1. LYF Flame 1 is priced Rs. 6490 and LYF Wind 6 is priced at Rs. 7090. These phones are available across India in more than 1,20,000 retail outlets through a network of more than 1200 distributors.
These two smartphones incorporate VoLTE and VoWi-Fi features, implying Voice over Long-Term Evolution and Voice over Wi-Fi, and will ensure a true 4G experience for the user when used on a VoLTE network, as stated by the company.
Both Wind 6 and Flame 1 are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset paired with 1 GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage extendable to 32GB via microSD card. Both the devices are equipped with a 5MP front camera, apart from a 5MP rear camera, with special modes such as blink detection, smile detection, etc.Both the devices run on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS and support Dual-SIM.
Wind 6 has a 5-inch IPS Display, whereas Flame 1 sports a 4.5 inch IPS display. Wind 6 is packed with 2250mAh battery whereas Flame 1 comes with 2000mAh battery. Besides 4G, both the devies also provide connectivity options of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc.
Wind 6 is available in white, black, and gold colours and Flame 1 comes in white, black, dark blue, and dark red colors.
