Samsung has announced today the introduction of the GALAXY Tab 3 series available with 8-inch and 10.1-inch display, and both the tablets will be available globally beginning of June. Samsung has not revealed the prices of these two tablets.
The Galaxy Tab 3 with 8 inch display is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. The device has a 8-inch WXGA TFT display with a resolution of 1280X800 pixels.This tablet is packed with a 4,450mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab 3 with 10.1 inch display is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, and 1GB of RAM.The tablet has a 10.1-inch WXGA TFT display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It has a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. It is packed with 6,800 mAh Li-ion battery.
Both tablet come in two variants – 16GB and 32GB, and both the tablet also offer expandable storage up to 64GB via a microSD card. Both run Android 4.2 OS (Jelly Bean), and will come in Wi-Fi only, 3G and LTE variants. They also come pre-loaded with Samsung applications and services such as Samsung Hub, ChatOn, S Translator, S Travel, Pop up Video and WatchON.
