Samsung Galaxy S II Seen Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (Leaked Version)

Aha! Samsung Galaxy S II has been spotted running the latest version of Android viz. Ice Cream Sandwich. SamMobile demonstrated (see the video below) the recently released development version i.e Android 4.0.3 on which Samsung is rumored to be working on.

From the looks of it, Samsung has “skinned” the beautiful Android 4.0 with it’s own TouchWiz UI. Android 4.0 as seen on Google’s flagship phones has a beautiful UI to offer but Samsung being a manufacturer and a “user” will have TouchWiz running, something we can’t complain about. The thing to note about it, the home-screen and app drawer per se don’t seem to have any major UI changes, which I did anticipate considering the big leap from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich.

The UI front, as I said doesn’t seem to have much difference from what Samsung Galaxy S II users are already using and are acquainted to but this being a leaked development build, nothing can be for sure till the time Samsung officially announces the availability of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. View the following video to get an idea of how the leaked Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich looks on Samsung Galaxy S II.
