Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, which is stripped down version of highly successful flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone, will be available from Thursday the 18th July in India. Samsung is doing an event in Delhi on 18th July where this smartphone will be officially launched. However, the Galaxy S4 Mini is up for pre-order on Samsung’s e-store for a price of Rs. 27,990. This smartphone is also being offered against interest free EMI options of three months and six months. Flipkart is also offering the phone for the same price and also against six month EMI deal.
The Galaxy S4 Mini sports a 4.3 inch screen, which is smaller than the 5 inch Samsung Galaxy S4. The phone is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, and eqipped with 1.5 GB of RAM, and has 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 64 GB, via microSD card. It will run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and Samsung has supre imposed its own Touch Wiz on it.The device features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel HD front facing camera. The device also supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM). The Galaxy S4 mini is packed with a 1,900mAh battery and is available in two colour options – White Frost and Black Mist.
The Galaxy S4 Mini will come with pre-installed apps including S Travel, Group Play and ChatOn, and other features of S4.
This smartphone is targetted for those lovers of Samsung, who could not buy premier S4 because of price constraint.
