Send Flash SMS, Push SMS With CoolSMS+ At Normal SMS Rates

Ever wondered how the telecom service provider send you those service message sms’s which when opened are shown in full screen? Or How cool would it be to send your friend/relative a similar sms and get his/her attention the moment sms is received. I don’t know about you but I have always been fascinated by such full screen sms’s and CoolSMS+ turned out to be the answer.

Yes! It sure is possible. All you need to do is download CoolSMS+, product of eHandySoft is a mobile application for symbian and Windows Mobile running mobile phones, and enhance your mobile phone to send flash or wap push sms (see image on right). CoolSMS+ is a simple to use application with installation size of just 25KB. Using CoolSMS+ is even simpler:

• Once installed, from the “Options” just select the type of sms you wish to send viz. Flash SMS, Blink SMS & Service SMS.
• Fill in the mobile number (or select from the address book) in “To” field.
• Write the matter in “Content” field.
• Press “Send” in “Options” menu

That’s pretty much it! The message will be sent and seen by the receiver (as per your selection) at no extra cost. By ‘no extra cost’ I mean only normal sms charges as charged by your service provider are applicable. Moreover the receiver NEED NOT have any application installed to view such messages, which in my opinion is the best part. No dependency on 3rd party app for receiver. There are few settings which you can configure but except Delivery Report, none of them were of any use to me.
