German Audio specialist, Sennheiser, has launched the Urbanite series of headphones – URBANITE XL Wireless, URBANITE XL and URBANITE. These headphones have stainless-steel hinges, which add a striking touch of rugged urban style to cool design touches like the colour-coordinated fabric-wrapped headband, and are targeted at consumers who love their tunes heavy and want to look good, said the company.
URBANITE XL WIRELESS
The URBANITE XL WIRELESS headphones series integrate Bluetooth and NFC features. With the latest Bluetooth 4.0, they provide multi-connectivity. They can be paired with up to eight different devices as well as can be connected simultaneously to two devices, which makes it possible to link the URBANITE XL WIRELESS to a smartphone and computer at the same time. Moreover, they can deliver 25 hours of playback, and are constructed with durable materials including strong metal components.
In this series of headphones, the latest apt-X codec is used to deliver clear and CD-quality sound. These headphones come with state-of-the-art touch control panel on the right ear cup that makes it possible to adjust the volume and skip to the next track by sliding a finger across the panel or tapping it. Touch controls can also be used to receive and make calls on a connected phone and enhanced by voice prompts that provide all necessary information about the status of the headphones.
URBANITE and URBANITE XL
The on-ear URBANITE and over-ear URBANITE XL headphones offer massive bass, while still ensuring clarity through the entire frequency range. Its durable sliders and hinges also work with the super soft ear pads to ensure that the listener is insulated from external noise, ensuring great comfort for even long periods of listening. This range also keep you connected on the move, with integrated in line remote control and microphone for taking calls and controlling music on smartphones and tablets.
The URBANITE and URBANITE XL come in ‘i’ version for Apple iOS devices and ‘g’ version for Windows or Android-driven devices, such as Samsung Galaxy models.
The URBAITE g and i versions have price tag of Rs. 15,990 and come in Black, Denim(g version) and additional colors of Sand, Plum, Nation in i version. The URBANITE XL g and i versions are priced Rs. 19,990 and come in Black, Denim (g) and additional Sand, Olive, Nation colors for i version. The URBANITE Wireless is available in Black color only for Rs. 24,990.
All URBANITE headphones are supplied with a soft pouch for safe storage, and also come with a 2-year international warranty.
