Sudhin Mathur Appointed Managing Director of Motorola Mobility India

Lenovo has appointed Sudhin Mathur as the Managing Director – Motorola Mobility India Pvt Limited. He has been inducted as a full-time director on the Motorola Mobility Board in India and has taken over as MD, Motorola Mobility India. Sudhin will also continue to serve the role of Executive Director for Lenovo MBG India as per press statement of the company.

Sudhin has been running the operations for Lenovo MBG in India since its inception in the country four years ago and has been instrumental in leading the seamless integration of Motorola and Lenovo mobile businesses. Under his leadership, the brand notched the No. 2 position by both value and volume in this cluttered and competitive market, rising from the 31st position in the year it entered the market.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Mathur, said, “I am honored to lead the India business for Motorola Mobility, the pioneers of mobile technology in the world. In the last four years, we have established Lenovo Moto as the challenger brand in the country and I am excited to lead this business further as we define a new era of mobility.”

Sudhin has over 20 years of rich experience in Business Management and Consumer Marketing in varied industries viz. Telecom, Services and Office Products and has been credited for significant contributions in catalyzing growth of the telecom industry in India. He played a pivotal role in setting up and scaling the Ericsson Telecommunications/ Sony Ericsson business in India and bringing it amongst the top five brands in the smartphone sector. An expert in brand building, retail business management, sales and distribution, people and organization strategies; Sudhin was responsible for setting up Sony Ericsson’s Global research and Development Centre in Chennai as well as its manufacturing facilities with EMS partners. He played a similar role for LG mobiles as the Business Head for India, prior to joining Lenovo MBG in May 2013.

    Pls extend you help and expedite your support for your valuable customers who all are facing mental torture after purchasing motorola mobiles.I think you are the right person for making you aware about the worst quality of services being provided by B2X in pune.As i am a educated customer and whenever i wanted to highlight the issue to the top management they never ever connected me for the same.I am only getting one comment that it has already been highlighted to the upper management and the same will be taken care but there 24 Hrs never ends up.Its almost 15 days from the day of submission but till date no resolution

  2. I have bought moto turbo addison in 2016 .a major problem found in it . network not catch properly even other mobile do work in same circumstances .I will never suggesst other to buy this company phone
