Tata Motors has launched its highly publicised Hexa MPV in India. The Hexa will be available in six variants – XE, XM, XT, XMA, XTA and XT 4×4, starting at Rs. 11,99,000 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. It will be available in five color options – Pearl White, Arizona Blue, Tungsten Silver, Sky Grey and Platinum Silver.
This vehicle is powered by the 2.2-litre Varicor diesel engine which has two variants -150PS/320Nm and 156PS/400Nm. The base XE is equipped with the first variant with a 5-speed manual transmission whereas the remaining variants gets its power from 156PS/400Nm version of the engine. The XMA and XTA also has a 6-speed automatic transmission.
This vehicle comes with a new first-in-segment ‘SUPER DRIVE MODES’ system which allows the driver to seamlessly switch between four different driving modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road, for enhanced ride comfort & stability over different terrains. This mode can be activated through a rotary knob, ergonomically placed on the centre console.f
Inside the cabin, the Hexa has CONNECTNEXT Infotainment system having 5 inch touch screen exclusively designed by Harman with 10 JBL speakers, featuring voice recognition and smart phone integration. The ConnectNext App suite includes, NAVIMAPS App, Juke-Car App, Tata Smart Remote App and Tata Smart Manual App.
The Hexa comes mounted with projector headlamps with LED DRLs and 19-inch alloy wheels with chrome garnishing on the outside on the top variants.
On the safety front, this vehicle has 6 Airbags: Front, Side & Curtain Airbags. The mid-range XM and XMA variants has rear parking sensors and hill hold control also on XMA.
This vehicle is absolute comfort to enjoy ride as it has an 8 way adjustable driver seat. To keep the riders cool, the automatic climate control system has dual HVAC to maintain the in-cabin temperature with personalised air flow and speed control through AC vents in each row.
