Transcend Introduces Jet Drive Go 500 With Dual Connectors to Expand iPhone, iPad Storage Space

Transcend Information, based in Taiwan and a leading manufacturer of storage and multimedia products, has released Jet Drive Go 500 Flash Drive specifically designed for the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod. Transcends Jet Drive Go 500 series is available in both gold and silver colors with both 32GB and 64GB capacities in each color. Transcends Jet Drive Go 500 is compact and lightweight, and is one of the smallest flash drives on the market. It comes in a sleek alloy casing. The extended Lightning connector allows the Jet Drive Go 500 to have expanded compatibility with oversized protective bumper cases that prevent other flash drives from properly connecting without removing the case.

The Transcend Jet Drive Go 500 combines a Lightning connector and a regular USB 3.1 (Gen 1) connector into a single flash drive. The Lightning connector can reach up to 20MB/s transfer speeds, whilst the USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector offers transfer speeds of up to 130MB/s, allowing users to transfer an entire 4GB HD movie in only 28 seconds.

Transcends exclusive Jet Drive Go App is free to download from the App Store, and features an easy to use and intuitive user interface. The App allows for everything from a quick backup of the Camera Roll to Jet Drive Go 500, to simple transfer of files from iOS device to another computer. Transcends Jet Drive Go App supports a wide range of file formats, including image, audio, video, and document files. The Jet Drive Go App also features a Shoot and Save function that allows users to shoot and save photos and videos directly to the Jet Drive Go 500, without having to worry about insufficient storage space. In addition, the App automatically organizes files into folders, photos, videos, and documents, simplifying file search and management for users.
