Oppo has launched today its successful F1s smartphone with bumped up RAM and internal storage. The upgraded Oppo F1s comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage compared to 3GB RAM and 32GB of earlier version. Rest of the features are same in upgraded variant. The upgraded model is priced Rs. 18,990 and the earlier F1s was launched at Rs. 17,990. This will be available in Grey and Gold color variants. This phone will start selling by the end of November across retail storres and on Amazon.in from December.
To remind our readers, the Oppo F1s has USP of its 16MP front-facing camera which comes with1/3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture. For clicking beautiful selfies, the company has enhanced Beautify 4.0 features in this camera which now incorporates seven beautify levels and two skins tone modes. It is now possible to capture brighter selfies with clear skin and vivid eyes and striking features. The front camera also comes with Selfie Panorama feature for wider coverage of group and Screen Flash feature. You can also capture the selfies by waving your palm in front of the selfie camera and also with voice command by saying cheese.
Besides its powerful front camera, the F1s is also equipped with a 13MP rear camera with phase detection auto-focus (PDAF), f/2.2 aperture and Dual-LED flash.
The Oppo F1s also boasts of very decent hardware to make it a perfect device. This phone features a 5.5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with the Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It has now 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card.
This phone is packed with 3075mAh battery which will be good enough to last full day. This phone comes with the triple-slot card for placing two Nano 4G SIM cards and an SD card slot to expand the storage space by up to 128 GB.
The other prominent feature of FIs is its very fast fingerprint sensor on the front home button which is claimed to unlock the phone in 0.22 seconds. Besides unlocking the phone, the fingerprint sensor can be used to launch apps with upto five different fingerprints. With one touch of the home button, you can launch an app or start a phone call to a pre-assigned contact.
This phone runs ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE bands. It also offers other standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0. This phone has dimensions of 54.5x76x7.38mm and its weight is 160 grams.
