Western Digital has officially introduced affordable personal cloud storage solution i.e My Cloud in India. WD My Cloud is essentially a NAS (Network Attached Storage device) minus the hassle of setting up NAS. In a nutshell, the device lets you to share and stream files in your home network as well as provide cloud capabilities with the option of allowing other user access data stored on the device from anywhere at any time!

My Cloud is powered by a dual-core, ARM Cortex A9 processor sufficient enough to serve home computing needs very well. The design too is simple-yet-elegant consisting of a white box with silver edges, accents and a blue LED in front indicating power supply. There is a Gigabit Ethernet port and a USB 3.0 port available for connecting it with a wifi-router and/or to an external USB drive (roughly acting as a storage expansion slot). My Cloud also acts as a media center, storing movies and music that can then be streamed to any DLNA certified device.
