Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 7 with Snapdragon 660, Dual Rear Cameras in India Starting at Rs. 9999

Alongwith Redmi Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi also launched Redmi Note 7 which is powered by Snapdragon 660 A1 processor. This phone comes in two variants of 3GB+32GB ROM and 4GB+64GB ROM. It will be available for Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant in Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red starting 12 PM on 6th March via Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores.

The Redmi Note 7 sports a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ Dot Notch display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The display has protection of Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as on the back. This phone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes in two variants of 3GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage which can be further extendede up to 256GB with microSD card. This is hybrid Dual SIM phone. This phone is packed with 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.

For photography, this phone is armed with 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX486 sensor, PDAF, EIS, f/2.2 aperture and  secondary 2MP camera. This phone has 13MP front shooter for selfie with AI Portrait mode.

For security, this phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and Face Unlock feature. For connectivity, it offers options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac,Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C and also has IR sensor. This phone runs  MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

On purchase of this phone, Airtel customers will get 100% more data at existing prices on select Airtel prepaid recharge packs. Customers can get data benefits of up to 1120GB along with Airtel Thanks benefits like free Airtel data secure (Norton antivirus), free access to Airtel TV premium. Xiaomi has also announced a perforated case for this phone at Rs. 349.
