ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini With Android 5.0 Lollipop To Debut In India On 19th May

It is now turn of another Chinese giant ZTE to introduce their Nubia brand in India. The company has created the buzz in India under the tagline: UNLIMIT YOURSELF. Almost all the Chinese brands such as Lenovo, Gionee, Huawei, Xiaomi etc. are doing quite well in the Indian market and have changed the mid-range smartphones scenario in India. To tap the opportunities in India, ZTE is introducing Nubia smartphone range in India, which was launched in China in the month of March.

It is expected that Nubia Z9 Mini will get introduced in India on 19th May at an event in New Delhi, for which we have received media invite. The ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini features a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (quad-core 1.5GHz + quad-core 1GHz) processor coupled with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 16GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable upto 128GB via microSD card.

On the imaging front, the Nubia Z9 Mini comes with 16MP rear camera with Sony IMX234 Exmor RS sensor, LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. It also houses with 8-megapixel front camera. It is packed with 2900mAh battery, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nubia UI 2.8 skin on it. This smartphone is Dual-SIM device and support Nano-SIM.

Keeping in view of tough competition in the market, the Nubia Z9 will also be priced aggressively and is speculated to carry price tag of around Rs. 13,000. This will be sold exclsuively online on Amazon.in

Although the company has not specified the details of the products to be launched, there are chances that ZTE may also launch Nubia Z9 Max phablet on this occasion. The difference between Z9 Max and Z9 Mini is only in screen size, processor and RAM. The Z9 Max sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display; driven by an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor (quad-core 2GHz + quad-core 1.5GHz) coupled with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Rest of the feaures of both the devices are same.

Let us wait till 19th May to see what comes out from the stable of ZTE Nubia.
