Micromax has announced that it will launch shortly a new dual-SIM smartphone called Superfone Ninja 2 A56. This new phone is a successor to the earlier Superfone Ninja. The official release date for this device is yet to be announced, but the company has revealed its specifications.
Micromax has announced that the device will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Ninja 2 A56 sports a 3.5″ inch HVGA display and a 3 MP rear camera with fixed focus. There is no front-facing camera. This phone is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor, sports 512 MB of ROM along with 256 MB of RAM. Its memory is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD. The battery is a 1400 mAh and the phone also has Wi-Fi connectivity. It also comes with a set of pre-installed apps.
One of the key features of this phone is the presence of the Siri-like voice assistant – Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant (AISHA). This feature made its debut on the previous Micromax Superfone Ninja A50. Through the feature of voice commands it can open a map, search the web and dial numbers. It also allows people to update their status on social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The Micromax Superfone Ninja 2 is officially priced at Rs. 5,999. The company has not revealed the phone’s exact launch date, but it is expected to be made available by the end of this month.
