After announcements of various handsets by reputed companies like Samsung,LG and Sony, it is now turn of Acer to unveil two new mobile handsets running on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich almost a week before they were due to be unveiled in Berlin at consumer electronics fair IFA from August 31 to September 5. These two handsets are Liquid Gallant Solo (single sim) and the Liquid Gallant Duo (dual sim).
These two smartphone have basically the similar specifications except single or double sim capacity as their respective name suggests. Both these devices features a 4.3″ inch display with qHD resolution, 1 GB of RAM, a 1 GHz MT6575 processor and 4 GB of internal storage (which can be expanded with a Mirco SD Card), a 5-megapixel camera and Wi-Fi capabilities, and run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Besides above features, black or white coloured smartphones sport an enhanced surround sound system and come pre-loaded with a SWYPE keypad.
Acer has not announced the prices of above two devices and the company will reveal the prices in Berlin at consumer electronics fair IFA. This fair is going to be very interesting from the perspectives of mobile handsets and tablets. Many companies like Sony are expected to showcase their new smartphones and Samsung is expected to come out with their next gen tablet and smartphones. The other companies also give lot of imporatance to this fair and will definitely showcase their new products.
