LG Electronics has launched LG Optimus L9 smartphone in India for Rs. 23,000. Continuing its legacy of success, the Optimus L9 is the latest addition in the style-focused L-Series smartphones from LG.
LG Optimus L9 comes with 1 GHz dual-core processor and 4.7″ inch IPS display (960×540 pixels) and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The smartphone also comes with 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, 50 GB Cloud Storage, 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and high-density 2150 mAH SiO+ battery.
The phone comes loaded with a horde of new features, like the QuickTranslator app which instantly translates foreign words and phrases into English. The smartphone also features LG’s QuickMemo, a smartphone experience with powerful note-taking capabilities that lets users add commentary, notes and drawings to screenshots with a few swipes of a finger, then share them with friends and family via social media and email. By using its CheeseShutter feature, LG Optimus L9 lets users snap photos and take advantage of voice-activated photos by simply saying “cheese” to snap a picture. Another amazing feature of the smartphone makes typing messages significantly easier as the keypad adjusts the key formation based on whether the user is typing with one hand or two.
