For trendy and young customers who prefer bright colors, LG-Google has answer for them. LG has announced today that their highly successful Google Nexus 5 smartphone manufactured by them, would now be available in red color also besides in black and white colors.
LG Google Nexus 5 was launched last October, and has been receiving good response from the markets whrever it is available. Nexus 5 sports a 5 inch Full HD IPS display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It runs Android 4.4, KitKat, the latest version of the Google Android OS.
“The Nexus line has always been about doing things differently and consumers who share this philosophy have been our most loyal fans,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “We’re carrying this thinking over to the red Nexus 5, which we think will catch the eye of consumers who want to make an even bolder statement.”
According to LG, the red Nexus 5 will be available on Google Play store starting this month in the United States, Canada, U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Korea with wider availability across Europe by the end of the month. Customers will also be able to purchase a red Nexus 5 in retail stores in select markets.
Currently, in India the Nexus 5 is available at Rs 28,999 for the 16GB and Rs 32,999 for 32GB variants. The Red Nexus 5 will also be available in India in this month.
