If Xiaomi smartphone is most-sought after smartphone so far, then Asus Zenfone 5 with good features and smartly priced at Rs. 9,999 for 8GB and Rs. 12,999 for 16GB variants, is not far behind and is also selling like hot cakes. According to Asus, 10,000 units of Asus Zenfone 5 will be available for grab on e-commerce retailer flipkrt from 9th August. The company has also assured that in keeping with the demand, the stocks of flipkart will be filled every week.
Asus Zenfone range of smartphones consisting of Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6, were introduced in India in the month of July and since its launch on 9th July, the entire stock was sold out within 4 days. However, the company has not disclosed the exact number of units sold so far and the break-up of model wise sales. ASUS Zenfone Series of smartphones are available exclusively on Flipkart and through offline ASUS authorised channels.
The Asus ZenFone 5 sports a 5-inch 720×1280 pixel IPS display, and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper-Threading technology. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM and has two variants of 8GB and 16GB internal storage, which is further expandable upto 64GB. This smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is fuelled by a 2110 mAh battery.
Asus ZenFone 5 display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and supports Dual-SIM with Dual Standby. This phone has quad-band feature, which will enable this smartphones to be used worldwide.
