Motorola India has started tweating that it will launch soon its flagship Moto X Style in India. It is a question of few days now when they will announce launch date to take advantage of the upcoming festival season in India. The month of October has become very important in India for all the major vendors. In this month, we shall be witnessing launch of Honor 7, Gionee Elife E8 smartphones and arrival of new Nexus range and iPhones. There will be few other launches also in this month.
The Moto X Style was launched by Motorola in July this year alongside the Moto X Play and Moto G (Gen 3). In India, the latter two phones have already been launched and available exclusively on Flipkart. The flagship Moto X Play is also expected to be Flipkart exclusive initially.
The Moto X Style flaunts a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a 515ppi pixel density. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC with a 1.8GHz hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. This phone will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage variants, and its storage can be further expanded 4pto 128GB via microSD card.
The other highlight of Moto X Style is its optics. It is equipped with 21MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and is capable of shooting videos at 4K resolution. It also houses a 5MP front-facing camera with an 87-degree wide-angle for better selfie coverage.
This phone gets its juice from 3000mAh battery, which comes withTurboPower charger for faster charging. This device is also water-repellant and can withstand minor water splashes.
This phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and will be updated with the latest Marshmallow OS very fast. It also encompasses Motorola’s own apps such as Moto Voice, Moto Assist, Moto Display, Moto Actions etc. which will be withdrawn once it is updated with Android M as these features are also available on the latest Android M.
The Motorola Moto X Style was launched in US for $ 400 for 16GB variant and it is expected that in India this device will be priced in the range of Rs. 25000 to Rs. 27,000. Motorola had launched Moto X Play in India at Rs. 18,499 and Rs. 19,999 for the 16GB and 32GB variants, respectively in the month of September.
