After launching Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 4G LTE smartphones in India in the month of May. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad has added one more smartphone to its porfolio. Coolpad launched today its attractively priced smartphone with impressive hardware features – Coolpad Note 3. This is the first smartphone with Fingerprint scanner and 3GB RAM, which is priced so low. It is priced Rs. 8,999 and come in white and black colours. It will be sold exclusively by Amazon.in. The registration of this phone has begun today and the first sale will be on 20th October.
From the design perspetive, the Coolpad 3 also looks simple and good.The Coolpad Note 3 has an arc design and comes with stainsteel frame with plastic body and is easy for operation with one hand.
This is the first smartphone under Rs. 10,000 to incorporate Fingerprint sensor which is claimed to support 360-degree finger rotation and very fast recognition. This phone recognises upto five fingers for locking and unlocking the phone. With the Fingerprint sensor, you can also lock the apps on this phone. According to the company, the Fingerprint sensor is sturdy enough to last for upto nine years. Besides Fingerprint sensors, the Coolpad Note 3 also comes with compass, gravity, proximity, ambient light, and gyroscope sensors.
The Coolpad Note 3 features a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display with viewing angle up to 178 degrees. It is packed with a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor combined with 3GB RAM and 16GB of in-built storage which can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD card.
This phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash,f/2.0 aperture, 5 Element HD Lens, and also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both front and rear camera have CMOS image sensor for enhanced image quality. This handset gets its juice from a 3000mAh battery.
This phone runs on Cool UI 6.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. This phone will support 13 Indian languages.
This is Dual-SIM smartphone and will also support 4G LTE, 3G and GSM network frequencies.
At the launch event, Coolpad also announced its partnership with Videocon to manufacture smartphones in India and is expected to roll out half a million devices from its facility in Maharashtra. The first made in India Coolpad phone will be available in Q1 of next year 2016. Coolpad also announced that they will be investing of over $300 million in India on Manufacturing, R&D and ID design of its smartphones.
