Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo has expanded its portfolio of Vibe K series and launched today Vibe K5 Plus in India. This phone was showcased by the company in the recently concluded MWC in Barcelona. Lenovo has been very successful with its K series in India and has sold good number of phones. To remind our readers, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note was launched in India in the month of January this year for Rs. 11,999. The Vibe K5 Plus is priced Rs. 8,499 and will go on open sale exclusviely on Flipkart from 23rd March.
The Vibe K5 Plus has full metal body and this device is light device having weight of 142 grams and thickness of 7.9mm. This phone is available in three captivationg colors – Champagne gold, Platinum silver, and graphite grey.
From the hardware perspective, the Vibe K5 Plus features a 5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and 441ppi. This phone is powered by 1.7Ghz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal stoarge which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. This phone is fuelled by a 2750mAh battery.
This phone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5 piece lens and houses a 5MP front facing shooter with 4 pieces lens for video calling and clicking selfies. This smartphone supports 4G LTE and also offers other connectivity options of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio and GPS etc.
This is Dual SIM device and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. For enhanced audio exprience, this phone also comes with twin stereo speakers powered by Dolby audio.
The other highlight of Vibe K5 Plus is that like Vibe K4, this phone also incorporates TheaterMax technology that provides users with an immersive cinematic experience. You can pair K5 Plus with Lenovo AntVR glass, which will be sold separately, and convert any content (Videos, Games, Live Streaming, YouTube etc.) into a large screen virtual screen experience.
