Meizu has launched two more affordable smartphones in China with decent features. These phones are Meizu U10 and Meizu U20. Both the phones have almost similar specifications except display, battery size and processing power. Both the phones have curved glass panels and the Metal frame to give it a premium look. These handsets will be available in silver, black, gold and rose gold colors.
Both the handsets are equipped with fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. Both the phones come in two varaints of 2GB RAM with 16GB storage / 3GBRAM with 32GB storage, with provision to extend the internal storage upto 128GB via microSD card. These phones come with Hybrid Dual SIM slot (nano+nano/microSD). These handsets offer 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1and GPS etc. These phone runs on YunOS with Flyme UI on top of it.
The U10 sports a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is driven by 64 bit Octa-core processor. It is packed with 2760mAh battery. On the other hand, the Meizu U20 has bigger display of 5.5 inch HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) with 2.5D curved glass. The U20 is packed with Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali T860 GPU. This phone gets its juice from 3260mAh battery.
Both the phones also have same camera specifications. The U10 and U20 are equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF autofocus, wide ƒ/2.2 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. The 5.0 megapixel front camera come with a large ƒ/2.0 aperture, for optimum performance under low light conditions.
These phones are priced in the range of $150 to $200 and will start selling in China from 18th September. Their is no information whether these devices will be launched in India.
