As expected, Lenovo has launched today yet another powerful smartphone – Lenovo P2. This phone comes in two variants of 3GB+32GB with price tag of Rs. 16,999 and 4GB+32GB which is priced Rs. 17,999. This phone has Metal Uni-body and is available in Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray colors. This phone is available exclusively on Flipkart.com
One of the major highlights of this phone is its massive 5100mAh battery which is claimed to last up to 3 days. It comes with a 24W rapid charger that provides up to 10 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes as stated by the company.
On the hardware front, the P2 features a 5.5 inch FHD (1920X1080, 401ppi) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by octa-core octa-core 2.0 GHz , Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with options of 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further extended upto 128GB via microSD card. This is Dual SIM device and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
On the imaging front, this phone is mounted with 13 MP AF rear camera with 5 piece composite lens (Sony IMX258 sensor) and 5MP front facing camera. The primary camera has HD video recording capability and comes with Pro-Mode, Slow-motion, Time Lapse features.
This phone incorporates fingerprint scanner on the home button and you can add up to 5 fingerprints and use them to lock the phone and individual apps. It also boasts a Dual App functionality wherein users can manage two different accounts in the same application. For example, users can setup two separate WhatsApp accounts, Hike or Google Play Store linked to the two SIMs in this phone.
This phone offers connectivity options of 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPRS, EDGE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, and FM radio etc. It measures 153x76x8.3mm and weighs 177 grams.
