Taking its selfie journey forward, Vivo brand of China which is getting very good traction in the Indian market, has launched yet another selfie focussed smartphone – Y66. The highlight of Vivo Y66 is its 16MP front camera with Moonlight Glow.
The Y66 sports a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) with 2.5D curved glass display and Eye Protection Mode. It is powered by 64-bit, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
This phone is packed with 3000mAh non-removable battery. This phone also incorporates the ‘Smart Screen-Split’ feature which enable users to chat and watch videos simultaneously on the same screen.
On the camera front, it is mounted with 13MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, this camera comes with 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and very attractive Moonlight Glow feature which induces a natural glow on the face without straining eyes that lights up the picture irrespective of the lighting conditions.
This phone comes pre-loaded with Saavn Pro app for free download of music for six months.
On the connectivity front, this phone offers options of 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS. This phone has dimensions of 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.6 mm and its weight is 155 grams.
The Y66 is priced Rs. 14,990 and will be available in two color variants – Crown Gold and Matte Black.
