Xiaomi has reduced prices of its five smartphones by Rs. 1000 effective from today. The five smartphones which have received price cut are : Redmi Note 5 Pro (both the variants), Mi A2 (both the variants) and Redmi Y2. Below is the list of phones and details of price reduction:

Xiaomi has informed that due to reduction in component costs, they have been able to drop the prices of its popular smartphones. These smartphones have received tremendous response in India and Xiaomi is hopeful that with the reduction of prices, more and more consumers will be able to buy them.
Xiaomi claims that they belive in honest pricing and nevet make more than 5% profit margin on any hardware product. If they make more profit, they give it back to their consumers and above reduction is one such instance.
Xiaomi was announced as the number one smartphone vendor in India for the 5th consecutive quarter, as per IDC Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, 14 November, 2018.
