Xiaomi has launched today Redmi 7 smartphone in India which is successor of Redmi 6. Xiaomi Redmi 7 comes in two variants of 2GB RAM with 32GB storage priced at Rs. 7999 and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage priced at Rs. 8999. This will go on sale on 29th April on Amazon, Mi.com and Mi Home. This phone comes in three colors of Comet Blue, Lunar Red and Eclipse Black with Aura Smoke design having P2i nano coating which makes it splash proof.
The Redmi 7 sports a 6.26 inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ Dot Notch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM with 32GB storage and alternatively 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. The internal storage can be extended upto 512GB via dedicated microSD card. This phone has three slots – two for Dual SIM with Dual VoLTE support and third dedicated slot for microSD card. This phone is packed with 4000mAh battery.
For imaging, this phone has two rear cameras of 12MP with LED Flash, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture and secondary camera of 2MP for depth sensing. For selfies, this phone is armed with an 8MP front camera.
This phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with layer of MIUI 10. For security, this phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and 360 degree face unlock feature. For connectivity, this phone offers options of Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.

Xiaomi has also launched today one IOT product – Mi LED Smart Bulb (white and color).
The Mi LED Smart Bulb supports 16 million colours and can be controlled via the Mi Home app, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, etc. This bulb has a lifespan of 11 years.
Mi LED Smart Bulb (white and color) will go live on Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform at 12 noon, 26th April.
