As date of launch of flagship OnePlus 7 Pro approaches near, more and more information is trickling in to create buzz in the market. OnePlus has informed today that OnePlus 7 Pro’s display will be HDR10+ certified for providing a more dynamic, detailed and vivid viewing experience.
According to OnePlus, HDR10+ provides frame-by-frame adjustments for the optimum representation of contrast from the HDR source content. HDR10+ also produces 4000 nits of peak brightness, a massive increase of 3,000 nits compared to HDR10. HDR10+ is currently only available on a selected few TVs and smartphones, due to the high technical requirements for production.

Besides HDR10+, the OnePlus 7 Pro display comes with an A+ top-grade rating given by DisplayMate, and is ‘Safety for Eyes’ certified by VDE.
What we know so far about other specifications of OnePlus 7 Pro, we are repeating the same. OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Quad HDR10+ (3120 x 1440 pixels resolution) with 90Hz refresh rate. The display will have no notch. The display will have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This phone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform built on 7nm FinFET process. This phone will come with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB ROM which will not be extendable. This phone is expected to be packed with a 4000mAh battery with Warp Charge 30 (30W) fast charging.This phone will be armed with triple rear cameras comprising of 48MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture, secondary camera of 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, this phone will come with Pop-up selfie camera of most probably 16MP or 24MP sensor. This phone will be shipped with Android 9.0 Pie with layer of latest OxygenOS.
As far as prices is concerned, we have learnt from different sources that OnePlus 7 Pro with 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant is expected to be priced at Rs 49,999, 8GB/256GB variant at Rs 52,999, and the top most 12GB/256GB variant will have price tag of Rs 57,999. This phone will come in two colors of Nebula Blue and Mirror Grey. This phone will be water resistant but without IP certification.
