After launching Vivo Z1 Pro for mid-segment market in India, Vivo has launched today another smartphone in their S series known as Vivo S1. This phone has highlights of FHD+ Super AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, triple rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera and powerful 4500mAh battery. The Vivo S1 comes in two colors of Skyline Blue and Diamond Black. The Diamond Black variant has a gleaming diamond pattern design that transitions from blue to purple when light falls on it and Skyline Blue colored phone has gradient design inspired by the stylish blue gradient of the evening sky.
This phone comes in three variants of 4GB RAM+128GB ROM, 6GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM priced at Rs. 17990, 18990 and Rs. 19990, respectively. This phone will be available across offline outlets starting tomorrow and on online channels including vivo India E-store, Amazon.in, and Flipkart starting 14th August. The 6GB + 128GB will be available starting next month.
The Vivo S1 sports a 6.39 inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display (2340 × 1080 pixels, 404PPi) with with a waterdrop notch. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and 90% screen to body ratio. This phone is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Helio P65 (MT6768) 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G52 GPU. It comes with three differnt configurations of RAM and internal storage as mentioned in the previous paragraph. Internal storage of this phone can be extended upto 256GB via microSD card. This phone is packed with 4500mAh battery with 18W Dual-engine fast charger which comes in the box.
On the camera front, this phone has 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and has features of HDR, Panorama, Gender detection, Face Beauty+ Bokeh, AR Stickers, Video Face Beauty, Selfie Lighting and AI Face Beauty. On the rear, this phone is armed with three cameras of 16MP primary sensor (Sony IMX499) with f/1.78 lens, secondary sensor of 8MP with f/2.2 wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 lens. This set-up of cameras boast of various features such as HDR Mode, PDAF, Pro Mode, AR Stickers, AI Face Beauty, Time-Lapse and Slow-Mo, AI Super-wide Angle for videos etc.
For security, this phone has in-display fingerprint sensor which unlocks the phone in 0.48 seconds and Face unlock feature on the front camera.
This is Dual SIM phone and offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, micro USB port. This phone also comes with Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-compass, Gyroscope (Virtual). This phone has weight of 179gms. This phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with layer of Funtouch OS 9.
