Asus has ramped up its VivoBook range of laptops and launched todat three new VivoBook X403, X409, and X509 Laptops. These are thin and light affordable laptops and their prices start at Rs. 30,990.
ASUS VivoBook 14 (X403) is powered by 72Wh 4-cell lithium-polymer batter, which claims to give 24-hours long batter life and 3X-longer battery lifespan as compared to other in-class batteries. It meets the MIL-STD-810G military standard for durability and reliability and weighs only 1.3kg, owing to its 16.5mm-thin profile. It also comes with fingerprint sensor.
The 14” VivoBook X403 features Full HD (1920 x 1080) four-sided NanoEdge display. It has 4.1mm slim-bezel design and has 87% screen-to-body ratio. The video quality on this display is enhanced with ASUS Tru2Life Video Technology that optimises the sharpness and contrast of the video through intelligent algorithm.
It is powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565 quad-core processor. It also features plenty of ports, including USB 3.1 Type-A, USB Type-C, HDMI output, an audio combo jack for headphones and microphones, and an SD card reader.
ASUS VivoBook X509 is powered by 8th Generation Intel Core U-series processors and the latest NVIDIA MX230 discrete graphics. It features a large 15.6-inch Full HD (1920X1080) NanoEdge display. It comes with fingerprint sensor, and is equipped with PCIe SSD, which is much faster than the traditional SATA SSD.
Its keyboard has wide spaced keys and 1.4mm of key travel. In addition, its touchpad is larger than its average counterparts, and with glass coating, is extremely smooth to touch. It also supports Windows 10 precision touchpad technology and multi-finger gestures – up to 4 finger gestures. The reinforced chassis gives a metal support brace underneath the keyboard that lessens the likelihood of damage from twisting, enhanced the typing and touchpad experience, and protects the motherboard.
The VivoBook X509 offers the widest variety of ports and connectors to ensure compatibility with old and new devices.
ASUS VivoBook X409 has 14 inch Full HD 1920×1080 resolution anti glare display. It is powered by Intel Core i5-8265U Processor 1.6 GHz (6M Cache, up to 3.9 GHz). It also supports Intel UHD Graphics 620, to support everyday work and productivity. It supports 2x USB 2.0 ports, one USB3.1 Type A (Gen1) and another USB3.1 Type C (Gen 1) port. There is also a jack for headphones and another port for connecting HDMI. Wireless connectivity is supported by Wi-Fi 5(802.11ac) + Bluetooth 4.2 (Dual band) 2*2.
