Oppo has launched today affordable Oppo A12 smartphone in India at starting price of Rs. 9,990. This phone has a dynamic 3D Diamond Blaze design on the back that offers variations and changes its shades as the viewing angle changes. This phone comes in two colors of Blue and Black. It will be available across offline stores and on leading e-commerce platforms starting 10th June 2020. 4GB+64GB variant is priced Rs. 11,490 whereas the 3GB+32GB variant will be available for Rs. 9,990.
The Oppo A12 sports a 6.22 inch Waterdrop Eye Protection Screen with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and comes with 89% screen to body ratio and 19:9 aspect ratio. This phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor and is combined with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, with an expandable memory of up to 256GB with the help of a dedicated slot for microSD card. It comes with 3 slots – two for SIMs and one for microSD card. This phone is packed with 4230mAh battery which is claimed to provide 17 hours of online video streaming, 8 hours of online gaming, and 63 hours of audio playback.
For photography, the Oppo A12 has been provided with 13MP+2MP Depth AI-powered Dual Rear Cameras. The 13MP main camera sports 6x digital zoom and burst mode to capture numerous images in quick succession. The 2MP depth camera provides an enhanced bokeh effect. For selfie, it has 5MP front camera with AI Beautification.
For security, this phone has Rear Fingerprint Sensor and Face Unlock feature. This phone also features Dirac – a Smart Sound Effects that is claimed to intelligently switches to the best sound effect setting taking the gaming, audio, and video experience to the next level.
This phone runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9. It also incorporates Riding Mode to enable users to focus on the road by blocking unimportant calls and notifications, making it safe when they are on the road.
