Asus today launched its latest smartphone in India, ASUS 8z which is the successor of ASUS 6z. The ASUS 8Z comes in sole configuration of 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM and will be available for Rs. 42999 from 12:00 PM on 7th March 2022 on Flipkart. This phone will be available in Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver colours.
On the specifications front, the ASUS 8z features a 5.9“ FHD+ (2400 x 1080) Samsung E4 AMOLED display, 90.02% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, 445ppi, 120Hz refresh rate with 1ms response time, 240Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. This phone is powered by 2.84 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform with 5 nm, 64-bit Octa-Core Processor and is paired with Qualcomm Adreno 660 GPU. This phone comes with 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage. This phone is packed with 4000 mAh (typical) battery with a 30-watt HyperCharge adapter for fast charging.
On the camera front, the 8z is armed with 64 MP SONY IMX686 primary sensor with OIS, 1/1.7″ sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 78.3° FOV, 2×1 OCL PDAF, Dual LED flash, 8K video recording with EIS and is supported by secondar ulra-wide 12 MP SONY IMX363 sensor with 113? FOV, f/2.2 aperture, Dual PDAF, Real-time distortion correction which supports 4cm Macro shot and records up to 4K/60fps or FHD/60fps. For selfies, this phone is equipped with 12 MP Sony IMX663 sensor with 76.5? FOV, f/2.45 aperture with features of Dual PDAF and is capable of recording up to 4K/30fps or FHD/60fps.
