Xiaomi India today launched its budget smartphone in India – the Redmi 12C. This phone features a 6.71 inch (1650 x 720 pixels resolution) HD+ Display. This phone is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 processor with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery with 10W charging. This phone comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB internal storage and also 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB internal storage, which can be extended up to 512GB with microSD card.
For photography, the Redmi 12C is equipped with 50MP rear primary camera and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it has been goven 5MP front camera.
This phone runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top and has rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 12C is dust and splash resistant with IP52 rating. This phone offers various connectivity options such as Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac.
Redmi 12C comes in four different color variants – Lavender Purple, Mint Green, Royal Blue, and Matte Black. It will be available at a starting price of INR 8,999 for 4GB + 64GB and INR 10,999 for 6GB + 128GB variant. ICICI Bank card holders can avail an additional INR 500 off, taking the effective pricing to INR 8,499 and INR 10,499 respectively. This phone will be available across Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Studio, Mi Home and authorized retail partners starting 6th April, 12 noon.
